Project Spotlight: McGurk Jetty Railings

This was a fun job north over LAX opening up to South Bay. The contractor came to us with rough drawings to replace an existing structure. Our team designed and modeled the gats, and wave protection barrier in house. The contractor then took the parts and did the entire installation. The stature is made up of the following:

• Vertical 2” FRP beams

• 8” FRP beams

• 8” Stainless 316L 

• Channels

• Square tubes

• U joints

• I beams

• 3 ⅜” Stainless 316L angles
